- Protection against abuse and fraud

- Error-free statistical evaluation of our services
a. Data Collection on our Website (Server Log Files)
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Every time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by your internet browser and stored in log files (server log files). This data includes, for example, the name of the requested page, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, the requesting provider, and the IP address of the accessing device.
The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user’s computer and to ensure IT security (defense against cyber attacks). The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. IP addresses are deleted or anonymized after 7 days at the latest.
b. Contacting Us via Email
You have the option to contact us using the email address provided on our website. If personal data is transmitted in this process, it will be processed for the purpose of answering your inquiries, establishing contact, or for contract performance.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR if consent has been given, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if it concerns the initiation or performance of a contract. Please note that data transmission over the internet can be subject to security vulnerabilities.
c. Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Google Consent Mode
We use services provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). These include Google Analytics 4 (web analysis), Google Ads (ad performance measurement and remarketing), and the Google Consent Mode.
- Google Consent Mode: We have integrated Google Consent Mode. This service transmits the status of your consent (via our cookie banner) directly to Google. If consent is granted, the tracking services are loaded normally. If consent is denied, no cookies requiring consent are set; instead, Google services send cookieless signals (“pings”). This allows Google to estimate functional trends and statistics through privacy-compliant modeling without directly identifying the user.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): We use GA4 to analyze user behavior. By default, GA4 does not collect full IP addresses; they are automatically shortened. GA4 uses cookies to evaluate interactions on our website across devices.
- Google Ads (Conversion Tracking and Remarketing): Conversion Tracking measures whether you have completed a specific action on our website after clicking on a Google ad. The Remarketing function allows us to show you personalized advertisements on other websites within the Google network.
- Google Tag Manager: We use the Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited (Ireland/EU). The Tag Manager itself does not set cookies or store personal data, but serves to manage other services, whereby your IP address is technically transmitted to Google (possibly the USA).
Legal Basis:
The processing of your personal data (and the setting of cookies for marketing/analysis purposes) takes place exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. The collection of cookieless signals via Google Consent Mode is based on our legitimate interest in an error-free statistical evaluation pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Data Collected:
Shortened IP address, device and browser specifications, click paths, interaction data, conversion values, as well as online identifiers or advertising IDs (e.g., gclid, _gcl_aw, _gcl_dc, as well as the cookie IDs IDE and test_cookie).
Third-Country Transfer (USA):
Data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which guarantees an adequate level of data protection according to the GDPR.
Storage Period:
User-level data in GA4 is automatically deleted after 3 months. Google Ads conversion cookies lose their validity after 30 to 90 days.
Withdrawal of Consent (Opt-Out):
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via our cookie consent banner: Change privacy settings You can deactivate personalized advertising directly in your Google account: https://myadcenter.google.com/
d. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. We distinguish between two categories of cookies:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are mandatory for the safe and error-free operation of the website (e.g., storing your cookie settings). For this purpose, we use the consent tool “CCM19”, which locally stores your cookie choices for a duration of 1 year in the cookie
ccm_consent. Storage is based on § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR out of our legitimate interest in operating the website. - Analysis and Marketing Cookies: These cookies (e.g., from Google) are only set if you actively consent via the cookie banner. The legal basis for this is § 25 (1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
